Calling all Dachshunds to come strut your stuff!

Applicants must be a Dachshund or Dachshund mix (or a dog)

Judging based on originality, creativity, showmanship and cuteness factor.

RULES:

• Contestants must sign up by filling out the online application by September 5.
• All contestants must be 1 year or older. 
• Dogs must be sociable with other pets, adults, and children.
• Only one entry per pet.
• Contestants will receive a participant number, which the handler must wear so it is visible to the judges during the contest.
• All pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations (Bordetella, DHLPP and Rabies) and provide vaccination proof from your veterinarian.
• Pets MUST be leashed  and under control at all times. (Please, no retractable leashes)
• People costumes are encouraged, but judging will be based only on the pet costume. 
• Obscene, lewd, or cruel entries will not be considered.
• Costumes must be safe and comfortable for the dog.
• No dogs in heat.
• Handlers must clean up after pet.

FEE: $20 per contestant. (Fees are donated to local Bristol charities)

PRIZE:

FIRST PLACE- will receive a Champion Ribbon and goodie bag with gift card.
Runner Up- will receive a ribbon
