The Bristol Corndog Fest is primarily run by volunteers!

There are many ways you can get involved! Loving corndogs is optional!

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

Festival Volunteers

Friday Load In Volunteers

Count: 5 needed (3 hr shift)

Shift: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

  • Carrying tables (8ft) and chairs to vendor spots
  • Setting up tables/chairs in food tent
  • Setting up chairs at main stage
  • Assisting Well Crafted Artisans if needed

 Load In Volunteers

Count: 10 needed (4 hr shift)

Shift: 7:30 am-11:30 am

  • Carrying tables (8ft) and chairs to vendor spots
  • Assisting Well Crafted Artisans with loading in their wares (no vehicles are permitted in the Well Crafted Village on this day).

Parking Attendants

Count: 5 needed (4.5 hour shift)

Shifts: 7:30 am- noon, 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 pm,, 3:30- 8:00 pm 

  • Manage parking for vendors. 
  • Help with drop off for vendors (7:30 am – 11 a.m.)
  • Help with shuttle off loading, onloading, and rotation.

To the Bridge Kayak/Canoe Race

Count: 9-10 needed (4.5 hrs)

Shifts: 8 am to 12:30 pm  

  • On the water in kayak (4 volunteers)
  • Dock at Hermance Park (3 volunteers)
  • Fluid Fun (2 volunteers)

Trash Bandits

Count- 4 needed (4.5 hr shifts)

Shifts: 10:30am-3:00pm | 3:00pm-7:30pm

  • Empty trash into dumpster and keep festival tidy 

Tear Down Team

Count- 20 needed  (1 hr shift)

Shift: 7:30pm-8:30pm

  • Tear down tables/chairs and put under the tent.
  • Gather signs
  • Make sure trash is collected into the dumpster

Volunteer & Give Back at the same time!

Volunteers are the heartbeat of the Bristol Corndog Festival. Whether you’re an individual, a business team, or a nonprofit organization, your time helps make this event possible.

To recognize that commitment, the festival sets aside a portion of its proceeds each year to support local nonprofit organizations. When volunteers serve at the festival, we make a donation in honor of their time — directed to a participating nonprofit or a favorite Elkhart County charity.

This means:

  • Nonprofits can bring volunteers and receive financial support for their organization

  • Businesses can encourage employee volunteering while supporting the broader community

  • Volunteers know their time is creating impact beyond the day itself

The Bristol Corndog Festival is committed to donating up to 10% of festival proceeds to nonprofit organizations that support the event and the Bristol community through volunteering, programming, and engagement.

Volunteering is a simple way to be part of a signature community event—while helping strengthen Bristol and the organizations that serve it.
